Our Story

Hotsy Totsy began in 2015 as a two-girl dream that blossomed over eight incredible years into a thriving business with a dedicated team and a beloved storefront in Vero Beach, Florida. Our plant-based bath and body treats made their way to happy customers all across the country, and our shop became a hub for creativity, community, and countless memories.

We had the time of our lives—learning, growing, laughing (and yes, occasionally crying)—as we navigated the wild ride of small business ownership. But like many entrepreneurs eventually discover, the weight of wearing all the hats, the call for new adventures, and the quiet hum of burnout led us to make the tough decision to close our doors in 2023.

Fast forward to 2025: now it's just Mo and a deeply rooted love for soap-making that refused to fade. Inspired to return to what sparked so much joy, she dusted off the old recipe books and got to work.

We’ve reimagined a handful of our most beloved soap recipes from the past and are excited to introduce new favorites along the way. With a renewed focus on simple, beautiful designs and ingredients like pure essential oils and natural colorants from plants, seeds, and clays, Hotsy Totsy is back—just a little more grounded and a lot more intentional.

All our soaps are still made with nourishing coconut milk for that signature creamy lather, now enhanced with even more natural goodness. While we no longer have a storefront, you can find our new Hotsy Totsy staples at a few amazing local stockists—so you can take a sniff in person and support two small businesses at once!
